Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected and processed when you use the website tonguard.org (the "Website"), including the demo request form and the abuse report form. It also describes your rights and how to exercise them.

2. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Tonguard ("we", "us"), the operator of this Website. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@tonguard.org.

3. What data we collect

Data you provide yourself through the forms on the Website:

  • Demo request: name, company name, business email, Telegram account, and the description of your needs you enter in the message field.
  • Abuse report: wallet address, selected risk tags, comment, transaction link, and, optionally, your name and email.

Data we collect automatically when you use the Website:

  • IP address and User-Agent of the request, together with the submission time — used to protect the forms from spam and abuse and to register the report correctly.
  • Technical data required for the Website to work and to keep it secure (standard server logs of our hosting provider and of our CDN provider).

We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we do not use the Website to make automated decisions about you.

4. Why we process your data and on what legal basis

  • To respond to your demo request — performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and your consent.
  • To receive, review and process abuse reports — your consent, and our legitimate interest in maintaining the integrity of our risk data and preventing fraud.
  • To keep the Website secure and prevent misuse of the forms — our legitimate interest in protecting our services, including processing the IP address and User-Agent.
  • To comply with legal obligations that apply to us as a provider of anti-money-laundering and know-your-transaction services.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website does not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Our hosting and CDN providers may set strictly necessary technical cookies to protect the Website from attacks and to deliver content reliably. Web fonts used by the Website are requested from Google Fonts; when your browser loads them, your IP address is transmitted to Google.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • our hosting provider, which stores the Website and its data (servers located in the United States);
  • our CDN and security provider (Cloudflare), which processes requests to the Website;
  • Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc.), through which our team receives a notification about a new form submission — the notification contains the data you entered in the form;
  • Google (Google Fonts) and CookieYes (cookie consent banner), as described above;
  • competent authorities, where we are legally required to disclose data.

7. International transfers

Some of the providers listed above process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

8. How long we keep data

  • Demo requests — up to 24 months from the last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them earlier or a longer period is required by law.
  • Abuse reports — up to 5 years, because they may be needed as evidence in an investigation or to defend legal claims.
  • Server logs — up to 12 months.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it rectified, erased or restricted, to object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw the consent you gave us at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@tonguard.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.

10. How we protect data

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data: encrypted HTTPS connections, limited access on a need-to-know basis, storage of form submissions outside the publicly accessible part of the Website, and restriction of public access to submission files.

11. Children

The Website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 16 years of age.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page, with the effective date shown above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Website.
